This blog is to detail my forthcoming 15 week trip to Asia with my fella and our bub. We will visit: Nepal, Malaysia, Burma, Cambodia. Laos, Thailand & India.
We have travelled a lot together and I have been to India before on an extended trip, but this is my OH's first really long trip. He's a little bit nervous I think, but won't admit it. I, on the other hand, am alternately excited and babbling and petrified Iand also babbling)
I will document where we go, how we get there, what we see, what we eat and most importantly, how much it costs. We are not planning on a strict shoestring budget this time, more of a flashpacker budget,but still much cheaper than any package tour and probably much cheaper than most people would imagine.
I'll talk more about the costs of planning and what we've paid for so far. I'm also going to try, wherever possible to find out the cheapest option, just to see how little money it is possible to travel on. We shall also look for funny things wherever we go and take pics to upload - nothing like poking fun at another culture or language - eh?
